Domestic Servicing

Watkins provides fully warranted servicing to domestic and commercial heating appliances in London and across the South East.

Our highly skilled team of engineers provide servicing for a wide range of domestic heating equipment to both individual households and commercial premises. Using Watkins extensive knowledge of design and installation, our service team are able to ensure that equipment is working efficiently and safely and will strive to identify any issue that may be a cause for future potential failures. Most domestic and commercial equipment requires annual servicing to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty and Watkins can carry this out either on a one off basis or as part of an ongoing contract.

Heat Interface Unit Service - £114

  • Visual inspection of the installation
  • Check heat exchanger
  • Check seals / replace as necessary
  • Clean out strainers
  • Check inhibitor levels within the water
  • Refill and dose as necessary
  • Check controls
  • Complete appliance service record

Heat Interface Unit Service plus cylinder service (same visit) - £168

Landlords Boiler Inspection - £114

  • Visual inspection of the gas equipment installation including the flue gas analysis
  • Landlords gas safety record (CP12)
  • Additional appliances charged at £20.00 per appliance

Boiler Service - £114

  • Service as per Manufacturers recommendations
  • Visual inspection of the boiler and flue installation including flue gas analysis
  • Cleaner burner / heat exchanger if necessary from analyser readings
  • Check seals / replace as necessary
  • Clean condensate trap
  • Check / clean mains cold water inlet on Combi boilers
  • Check hot water temperatures and flow rates on Combi boilers
  • Check the pressure within the expansion vessel
  • Refill and dose as necessary
  • Check gas rate / CO2 as per manufacturer’s instructions
  • Check controls and safety devices
  • Complete appliance service record, and issue Service/Maintenance Check List (CP6)
  • Landlords gas safety record (CP12) if required additional charge £50.00

Cylinder Service - £114

  • Visual inspection of the installation
  • Check expansion relief
  • Check pressure / temperature relief
  • Check discharge pipework
  • Check immersion thermostat and operation / cylinder thermostat
  • Remove inlet control valve / clean as necessary
  • Check expansion vessel charge
  • Complete appliance service record

Solar Inspection - £114

  • Visual inspection of the installation
  • Check pressure and flow rates
  • Check controls history
  • Complete appliance service record

Solar Service - £294

  • Visual inspection of the installation
  • Check pressure and flow rates
  • Check controls history
  • Replace glycol and flush
  • Check expansion vessel
  • Check pressure relief valve and discharge pipework
  • Complete appliance service record

Boiler Service plus cylinder service (same visit) - £168

NIBE Service - £114

  • Visual inspection of the installation
  • Check the fan is free of obstructions
  • Check water condition
  • Check electrical supply connections
  • Check the heating system pressure
  • Inspect the alarm log
  • Ensure system is working efficiently
  • Complete appliance service record

MVHR/Ventilation Service - £96

  • Check condense trap and clean as necessary
  • Remove dust from face of heat exchanger, interior of the unit and bypass (if fitted)
  • Clean filters + replace
  • Check operation of unit
  • Check boost functions and operation
