Replacement Plant Room

Packaged plant room was built off site in a workshop with the boilers and pumps being sent to the workshop and the complete plant room framework, pipework, etc all being fabricated offsite then distributed to site, crane lifted onto the campus and then the plant room external skin cladded, flues fitted, pipework insulated, BMS controls completed etc.
Works on site involved the removal of approximately 1000mtr of existing heating and water services in existing ducts and replaced with new pre-insulated heating mains and new plastic water services.

Work continued whilst the campus was operational to staff throughout the summer months with water services working and was completed over a 12 week period before the students returned to the site.
