Watkins is a M&E building services contractor in the South East, specialising in new build residential schemes within Greater London. The business is family owned and has been trading for over 60 years.

We are seeking an experienced site administrator predominantly to support the site teams and engineers with administration. Experience within the construction industry preferred.

You will be liaising with Supervisors, Project Coordinators and Engineers.

This role is site based with occasional visits to our head office in Ramsgate. Watkins sites are based within the M25 area.


  • Inductions – ensuring all is complete before attending site and all have Watkins Inductions
  • Keeping Drawing Rack up to date
  • Understanding of drawings and when being asked for certain drawings to be printed.
  • Drawing downloads from Sharepoint – Sorting and saving in correct job file
  • Drawing Schedules – up to date with new revisions, new drawing issued, checking status and comments received updating schedule in accordance
  • Downloading comments on drawing and saving in relevant folder
  • Keeping PE / PM informed on all changes
  • Updating RFI Schedule
  • Updating Tech Sub Schedule
  • Updating Pre-Requisite with given information from site team
  • Updating QA Tracker
  • Any printing / laminating for site team
  • Signage for site
  • Filing meeting minutes / audits / benchmarks / delays / QAs / material handovers in relevant folder
  • Friday Weekly Pack – inclusive of progress report, drop line, RFI schedule, Tech Sub schedule, pre-requisite schedule, QA trackers, Commissioning tracker (when relevant) / Completed QAs
  • Exporting all QAs/documents of Fieldview and saving in relevant folder

  • Plant inspection records
  • COSHH Sheets
  • Training records
  • Toolbox talks
  • Sign-in sheets

This position is full-time/permanent Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm with allowances made for travel to sites.

Salary: From £12.60 per hour
