It was a busy summer at Watkins, supporting our local community and celebrating our local supply chain.
A huge thank you to CA Drillers for sending us an ice cream van and other gifts for the second year running in appreciation of our ongoing working relationship.
We also got involved with the local Herne Bay Carnival by donating our truck, which was turned into a boat as part of the celebrations.
Thanet Wanderers
This summer, we were delighted to announce our next 3-year sponsorship deal with Thanet Wanderers, our local rugby team.
As the season kicked off last month, we got involved and supported their annual community day.
We wish them the best of luck for the season ahead. Go, Thanet Wanderers!
Our latest apprenticeship intake
Last month, we welcomed five new apprentices. Three of these are now placed on our Bethnal Green project with Berkeley Group, one has gone to our Excel site and one has joined our growing FM Solutions division.
From left to right, welcome Kairo, Ali, Masud, Max and Daiyan 👋
Exciting times as we embrace busy times ahead!
At Watkins, being a part of our local community is very important to us, and this summer was no exception!
