Darran successfully raised over £2,000 in donations from work colleagues, friends and family for Pilgrims Hospices who cared for his father in 2018.

Pilgrims Hospices is East Kent’s largest hospice charity and helps people facing incurable illnesses to live well in every moment. The charity bike ride started from the University of Kent in Canterbury and took riders on a tour of the East Kent countryside before finishing back at the university.

Pilgrims Hospices said “You’ve done sensationally well with raising much-needed sponsorship for Pilgrims and we can’t thank you enough for all of your efforts. Hopefully you’ll enjoy joining us again for next year’s ride!”
