The project consists of 206 apartments over 5 blocks including 117 Private apartments and 89 rented / shared ownership dwellings.
The entire scheme is served by a centralised energy centre with 3no x module gas fired boilers providing a constant temperature system feeding 3no heating sub-stations within the larger blocks. The substations are equipped with heat exchanger plates which acts as a hydraulic break from the main system, LTHW circulating pumps and pressurisation units ensure efficient distribution.
Each apartment consist of heat interface units to provide the dwelling with hot water and space heating. The apartment heating system is divided up into 3no circuits controlled by programmable room thermostatic and 2port valve for optimum control of the radiators and towel rail circuits. Thermostatic radiator valves are installed through the apartment for individual room comfort.
